Possible Design for XS-1 Experimental Spaceplane


xperimental Spaceplane (XS-1) program, which aims to make launching satellites a daily occurrence.
"I can tell you officially now that we have been funded by the [Obama] Administration for the next phase of XS-1," DARPA's Jess Sponable told applauding attendees at the Space Access '16 Conference in Phoenix last week. "What I can tell you right now is that we have $146 million."
DARPA launched the XS-1 program in 2014 with the goal of developing a reusable launch system capable of flying 10 times in 10 days with aircraftlike operability, at a cost of no more than $5 million per flight.

Gionee new smartphone launched

Gionee Pioneer P5W With 5-Inch Display Launched at Rs. 6,499

Gionee, soon after launching the Pioneer P5 mini and Pioneer P5L (2016), has now unveiled another Pioneer-series smartphone, the Pioneer P5W. Priced at Rs. 6,499, the smartphone is now available to buy via the company's website.
The biggest highlight of the Gionee Pioneer P5W smartphone at its price is its 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display, with a pixel density of 294ppi. The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based smartphone runs Amigo 3.1 UI on top. The dual-SIM smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor clubbed with 1GB of RAM.
It sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The Pioneer P5W packs 16GB of built-in storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). Backed by a 2000mAh battery, the handset offers up to 10 hours of talk-time and up to 288 hours of standby time on 3G networks. As for connectivity options, the Pioneer P5W features 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Micro-USB v2.0 with USB OTG functionality; A-GPS; Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Unfortunately, the handset doesn't support 4G LTE.
It measures 143.3x72x8.9mm and weighs 157 grams. The handset is listed to be available in Red, White, Black, Blue, and Yellow colours.
Last week, Gionee announced the launch of the Pioneer P5L (2016) which is now available to buy at Rs. 8,499. The biggest highlight of the Pioneer P5L (2016) smartphone is it features 4G LTE as well as voice over LTE (VoLTE). The Gionee P5 mini was also unveiled and was listed on the company's site at Rs. 5,349. Both these smartphones are now available to buy via the company's India site.

Reach Cogent and Reach opulent smartphone launched

Reach Mobiles, which has recently launched Reach Cogent and Reach Opulent smartphones, has launched yet another budget smartphone called Reach Allure. The Reach Allure is priced at Rs 4,444 and is available for purchase exclusively at e-commerce portal Shopclues. The smartphone comes in three different colours - Silver, Golden and Pink.
The Reach Allure features a 5.5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) 2.5D glass IPS display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, which is paired with 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and up-to 32 GB of expandable storage via Micro SD card. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) operating system.
The smartphone sports decent 10-megapicxel rear snapper with an LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The camera has various features like Touch Focus, Panaroma, Geo tagging, Image Stabilization, HDR, Face Lock, Multi Angle, and Smile Detection. The Reach Allure is backed up by a 2600 mAh Li-Polymer battery, which claims to offer up-to 7 hours of talktime and up-to 200 hours of standby time.
Besides, the smartphone offers 3G, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), micro USB 2.0 port and FM Radio. The handset measures 157.5x78.3x7.9 mm and weighs around 169.2 grams.

Gionee, soon after launching the Pioneer P5L (2016), has now unveiled its new Pioneer-series smartphone, the P5 mini, in India. Priced at Rs. 5,349, the Gionee Pioneer P5 mini is now available to buy via the company's India site.
That the smartphone was initiallyunveiled in Nigeria last month as the Gionee P5 Mini, and India appears to be the second market where the smartphone has gone on sale - though with the addition of the Pioneer moniker. The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based smartphone runs Amigo 3.1 UI on top and supports dual-SIM.
It sports a 4.5-inch WVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580M processor. It comes with 1GB of RAM and bears 8GB of built-in storage. The smartphone supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). The P5 mini sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and also houses a 2-megapixel front facing camera.
Connectivity options on the handset include Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB. It is backed by an 1850mAh battery rated to deliver up to 9 hours of talk time and a standby time of up to 237 hours on 3G networks. It weighs 153 grams, and measures 132x66x9.1mm. The Gionee Pioneer P5 mini will be available in Black, Blue, and White colour variants. Some of the preloaded apps on the handset include WhatsApp, Facebook, WPS office, 360 Security lite, Clean master, and TouchPal.
Recently, Gionee's Pioneer P5L (2016) also went on sale via the company's online store priced at Rs. 8,499. The biggest highlight of the Pioneer P5L (2016) smartphone was it featured 4G LTE as well as voice over LTE (VoLTE).

Yu Yureka Note phablet launched

Yu Yureka Note With 6-inch Display, Dual Speakers Launched at Rs. 13,499
Micromax's Yu Televentures last week launched the Yu Yureka Note phablet in India, priced at Rs. 13,499. The handset is available to purchase from offline mobile stores in the region, something contrary to the company's previous plans to keep the Yu brand online only. As per the company, the phablet will deliver to users the "ultimate multimedia & gaming experience."
The Yu Yureka Note is an Android5.1.1 Lollipop-based handset that features a 6-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution display with a pixel density of 370ppi. It packs an octa-core MediaTek MTK6753T processor under-the-hood, clubbed with 3GB of RAM.
In the camera department, the Yureka Note houses a 13-megapixel sensor at the back along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. For audiophiles, the company is also touting the inclusion of dual speakers with NXP smart PA technology as well. The phablet is also equipped with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.
The Yu Yureka Note on the connectivity front supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Micro-USB connectivity. A 4000mAh battery backs the handset. Like several other handsets in the market at this price range, the Yureka Note also too features a fingerprint sensor, and is claimed to be able to unlock the phablet in less than half a second.
Talking about the design, the Yu Yureka Note appears to be a bigger version of the Yu Yunique with the similar Saturn Ring rear camera design, volume and power buttons on the right-side, and speakers at the bottom of the back panel. With a 6-inch display and dual speaker combination, the phablet focuses on those users who like to consume media, play games, and listen to music.
